Compression load strapping is when two straps are simultaneously added to a load while under compression. Common applications include a variety of paper and graphic arts products. Incorporating the Samuel VK Series strapping head, the SGU-10 has the highest uptime of any strapping machine in the industry. Three AC motors provide feed, tension, and cam rotation functions. Samuel’s VK heads have no clutches or mechanical brakes, delivering unmatched reliability. The VK Series’ heat-seal technology guarantees secure loads. The versatile SGU-10 can be upgraded with an integrated turntable and pallet void-feeder, which allows the SGU-10 to deliver 2 x 2 or 4 x 2 strap patterns on postal-type or traditional wooden pallets.
